We are proud to announce the 3rd Annual Low Country Linedance Fest will be January 25-27, 2008 and will be held at the luxurious Sheraton, N. Charleston, South Carolina. Deadline for registration with the Sheraton is January 10, 2008. This means if you make your reservations after Jan. 10th you are not guaranteed the special price nor a room. So please make your reservations TODAY!!!
But make your reservations by calling 888-747-1900 or 843-747-1900 for the special rate. You will not receive the LowCountry rate online.
The rooms at the Sheraton are almost sold out so don't delay in making your reservation. If you are too late to get a room at the Sheraton, there are other hotels nearby. If you need help in finding one please contact Carolyn and Rick.

The 2007 event was a HUGE success with close to 200 dancers. We have decided to put a cap of 200 registered dancers on our events. In this way we hope to keep the "down home, warm, and friendly" atmosphere we had with the 2006 event. We are also downsizing our instructors and having only 2 rooms per hour - one for beginners and one for intermediates.
Please note: we are capping out at 200 dancers. So please be sure to get your registration forms in early! For your convenience we are also offering MasterCard, Visa and Discover as payment options.
Misconception Notice: It has been heard through the grapevine that seasoned dancers won’t come to the LowCountry because they believe the event is just for Beginners. This is so far from the truth! We have a room especially for the Intermediate level dancer so how could it possibly be just for Beginners. Yes we do invite Beginners and make them feel welcomed. But if YOU really want to know what the event is like, you should just come to it and not rely on what others have to say who probably have never been to the event! We all believe you’ll have a great time!!!!

We will have 2 rooms for workshops and evening dancing...one for beginner/high beginner and the other one for intermediate/advanced so no one will be forced to sit down. In fact we may not put any chairs out during open dancing!!! And ALL dances are taught twice!
Our "videographer" for 2008 will be Laura Thompson Robinson who just happens to be our daughter-in-law. Laura is a cinematographer and has worked on several movies and projects including "The Bacherlorette" (First season), "Imaginary Heroes," "Marcus," and several other movies. With her unique talent we are offering a great DVD of the instructors' dances at a very comparable price.
Our Saturday Night Dance Theme will be Prom Night, 2008! So head out to Goodwill, Salvation Army, etc. and start looking for your prom dresses and tuxedoes! This should be a fun night of dress up for all of us! Come join one of the fastest growing line dance events for Beginners as well as experienced dancers and see what the buzz is about!
